Northeast Ohio HUD Sustainability Grant

In October 2010, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development awarded Northeast Ohio a $4.25 million, 3-year grant aimed at coordinating planning efforts across the region and among disciplines. The grant will fund efforts to link housing, transportation, land use, economic development, and natural systems planning to improve the economic competitiveness, livability, and sustainability of the region. Greater Ohio Policy Center contributed to the proposal. Over the course of the next several months, we will issue regular updates on this innovative new effort.
