Two Ohio groups win Prestigious Award from U.S. Department of Treasury

Affordable Housing Trust of Columbus and Franklin County (AHT) and Finance Fund Capital Corporation (FCap), both Ohio-based community development financial institutions (CDFIs) recently won Capital Magnet Fund Awards from the U.S. Department of Treasury.  The awards are competitive grants to CDFIs and non-profit housing organizations and are used to create and preserve affordable housing and revitalize distressed communities.  AHT won a $2.9 million award and FCap a $1.5 million award.  The two winning Ohio CDFIs competed against 137 other organizations to be among the 48 nationally to receive awards.
