Last week, Greater Ohio Policy Center (GOPC) hosted the 2025 Ohio Brownfields Conference – the third annual conference. In partnership with the Ohio EPA, the 2025 Conference brought together over 300 attendees to network and learn.
GOPC expresses sincere appreciation to Ohio EPA and the 39 sponsors that made the conference possible. Throughout the day, attendees visited their exhibitor booths to learn about their work and services.
This year’s conference provided attendees with twelve panel sessions, with four panels focused on the Ohio EPA’s Voluntary Action Program (VAP). Thank you to our panelists for sharing their knowledge and expertise. All slides and handouts from each sessions are available online.
GOPC looks forward to continuing to serve as Ohio’s lead brownfield advocate, as advocacy continues for additional grant dollars in the 2026-2027 Main Operating Budget for the Brownfields Remediation Fund. During the lunchtime keynote, GOPC shared an update on the state of the grant dollars in the budget, and how advocates can remain energized and engaged to advocate for these, and future, grant dollars.
