The annual conference brings together brownfields practitioners, local and state government leaders, economic development professionals, and public and private sector partners from across Ohio for a day of learning, networking, and collaboration.

The one-day conference will feature 12 educational panel sessions, networking opportunities, and an exhibitor hall where attendees can connect with organizations working in brownfield remediation and redevelopment throughout the state.
GOPC and the Ohio EPA are working to develop a robust conference program, including a technical track focused on the Ohio EPA's Voluntary Action Program (VAP).

The 2027 Ohio Brownfields Conference Planning Committee is soliciting proposals for educational panels and presentations!
We encourage brownfields professionals, local governments, economic development organizations, and community partners to submit ideas highlighting innovative approaches, successful projects, lessons learned, and emerging opportunities in brownfield remediation and redevelopment.
Panel proposals must be submitted by Friday, January 15, 2027. All submissions will be reviewed by the conference planning committee.

Continuing Education Opportunities
GOPC is working with partner organizations to offer continuing education credits for eligible conference sessions.
In previous years, conference attendees have been able to earn credits through APA Ohio (AICP), the Ohio Supreme Court (CLE), the Ohio EPA (VAP CP PDHU), and other professional organizations.
