GOPC + National Partners Seek Pre-Approval Plans Architect
GOPC, in collaboration with the Housing Multiplier Project and Smart Growth America, are soliciting proposals from qualified architects and team members to prepare architectural plans for four (4) residential "missing middle" housing types.
Each housing type will include a plan set for (a) site-built construction and (b) modular construction. Plans must include submission-ready construction documents for each.
These plans will be licensed for use anywhere within Ohio and for use by multiple builders, multiple times. The plans will be made available to the public at low or no cost through a publicly accessible website promoted by GOPC, the state’s leading resource for pre-approved plans.
The Housing Multiplier Project (HMP) will be the main point of contact for the Architect. GOPC will lead regional and city engagement and coordinate with advisors.
These plans follow on the success of the single family and duplex plans underwritten by the Ohio REALTORS through the Housing Ohio initiative.
The RFP is here and proposals are due by Tuesday, October 6, 2026.
GOPC Seeking Applicants for Senior Research Associate
GOPC is seeking a candidate to undertake research, analysis, and project management support. The ideal Senior Research Associate candidate will have experience collecting and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data and is interested in legacy city issues.
