GOPC is currently finalizing the details for an Ohio Active Transportation Transportation conference in fall 2026!
We will confirm details soon, but GOPC plans to host a 1-day conference for leaders across the state who are interested and implementing Active Transportation infrastructure.
This conference will focus on bike + pedestrian infrastructure, funding and financing for complete streets infrastructure improvements, successful strategies for educating the public, and more.
Planners, engineers, local government leaders, and advocates will gather to learn, network, and gain the tools they need to build safer streets and vibrant communities in Ohio.
We are looking at venues in Central Ohio and dates in late August/early September 2026 for the conference.

We expect sponsorship levels will be:
Platinum: $5,000
Gold: $3,000
Silver: $2,000
Bronze: $1,000
Friend (open only to nonprofits): $500

Attendee Information
Registration Costs
GOPC will set registration pricing once we have secured a venue and understand all our costs.
As we vet venues, we are doing our best to keep early bird registration pricing at $125 or less per attendee.
At this time, GOPC does not plan to create different registration fees for attendees from different industries.
Continuing Education Credits
GOPC does intend to seek continuing education accreditation for most/all panels. We anticipate professionals will be able to earn 2-4 hours of continuing education by attending the conference.

The 2026 Ohio Active Transportation Conference will offer opportunities for advocates and local government leaders to learn more about how to plan and develop active transportation infrastructure, and professionals and practitioners the opportunity to network and grow the skills they need to advance active transportation projects.
As we develop the agenda and plan the events for the conference, we invite you to share your panel ideas with us! We’re seeking engaging and lively session proposals that deliver practical tools, inspire innovation, and address the challenges and opportunities facing Ohio’s communities.
