Greater Ohio Policy Center Statement on the Executive Budget

The following can be attributed to Alison Goebel, PhD, Executive Director, and Jason Warner, Director of Strategic Engagement at the Greater Ohio Policy Center regarding the Executive Budget Proposal by Governor Mike DeWine, "Investing in Ohio's Future"

“Governor DeWine’s proposed state budget and the Investing in Ohio's Future initiative, which includes support for small businesses, broadband infrastructure, and placemaking programs for Ohio’s legacy cities, is a commendable step forward and in-line with Greater Ohio Policy Center’s policy platform. We look forward to seeing all of the details of the Governor’s proposal, but believe this is the type of investment necessary to build on what exists, see what could be, and create solutions to enable sustainable growth, encourage pride in place and foster collaboration to build a Greater Ohio. We look forward to working with Governor DeWine and the General Assembly to refine these proposals and bring these priorities to fruition in ways that most benefit Ohio’s cities and towns.”
