2019 has seen a number of important initiatives undertaken by the state to mitigate lead contamination in housing across the state. While programs have been available in the past, and a number of cities have undertaken their own initiatives, the state is now stepping-up with a number of new initiatives that seek to eliminate lead contamination in homes built prior to 1978.
The past few years at GOPC have granted me unmatched opportunities for personal and professional growth. It has truly been a pleasure to meet and engage with local leaders in Ohio’s communities, and see the work they are doing to make their community a better place to live. There has been no shortage of inspirational moments during my years in this niche community of legacy cities.
